For years the anchor, a device that makes it possible to secure a ship, has been not only an element of a ship's equipment, but also a symbol that appears in sailing, art, heraldry, craft, not forgetting the symbol of Fighting Poland, very important in Polish history.

Szczecin is a city of griffins

The Lower Oder Valley Landscape Park is a unique natural reserve located in the Oder River valley, encompassing the largest fluvial lowland bog in Western and Central Europe. This area is home to a diverse range of plant and animal species that are no longer found in other major river valleys.

The monument, shaped as an earthen hill planted with linden trees, was raised in 1808 by French troops stationed in nearby Krzekowo to commemorate the thirty-ninth birthday of Emperor Napoleon I.

A concrete sculpture of an elephant is located in the square between Poznańska and Szczecińska Streets in the center of the Warszewo district in Szczecin. The piece was created in 1934 by German sculptor Kurt Schwerdtfeger during his tenure as a sculpture instructor at the School of Arts and Crafts at what was then Grünhofer Markt (now Kilińskiego Square).
