Cigarettes and alcohol

Cigarettes, tobacco and alcohol are available in shops licensed to sell them. These are not only monopoly stores, but also e.g. hypermarkets, petrol stations and convenience stores (e.g. Żabka).

There are no hourly restrictions on the sale of these products.

It is forbidden to consume alcohol in public places. Smoking is not allowed in places of daily use such as bus stops. An exception to these rules is Celne Quay. Consumption of alcohol up to 12% is allowed there.
