The ice skating season has officially started in Szczecin, with five rinks available – three already open and two more launching very soon. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a winter day actively, whether you’re a local or visiting the city as a tourist. Below is a list of all ice rinks, including practical details and opening dates.

The Golden Route is a walking trail that takes both tourists and locals through the architectural, cultural, and historical gems of Szczecin. Importantly, the route was designed to be accessible for people with disabilities.

Starting November 5, Netflix is streaming "Heweliusz," a new Polish mini-series recounting one of the most tragic maritime disasters in postwar Poland. At the Arkonka recreation area, the Garden of Lights exhibition has opened, this season bringing visitors into the enchanting World of the Smurfs. This interactive light show delights children and adults alike with its fairytale atmosphere and immersive design.

In the northwest part of Szczecin, in the district of Warszewo, a brand-new green space has opened – Ekopark Złotowska. This modern recreational and educational area attracts both nature lovers and casual walkers. It’s part of the city’s “Parks for Szczecin Residents” initiative, which includes the creation and revitalization of 28 green areas across the city.

Today we celebrate the birthday of Pasztecik Szczeciński – a beloved snack from the city of Szczecin and the West Pomerania region. It all started in 1969, when production began using a special machine brought from the Soviet Union, originally designed for military use.

From November 28, three central squares—Plac Lotników, Plac Adamowicza, and Aleja Kwiatowa—will transform into a festive Christmas village.
