Planning a weekend trip to Szczecin in early November? There is an important change to keep in mind when organising your visit. The Szczecin Tourist Information Centre will be closed on Sunday, 1 November 2026.

The Tourist Information Centre normally welcomes visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is a useful place for both tourists and local residents looking for information about the city, its attractions and things to see and do in Szczecin.

Bursztyn Unity in Szczecin: Ferry Tours and Naming Ceremony

The new Polish ferry Bursztyn Unity has arrived in Western Pomerania. Following a stop in Świnoujście, the vessel is expected to reach Szczecin on 9 November 2026 at approximately 12:00 noon. It will dock at the foot of the iconic Wały Chrobrego waterfront promenade and remain in the city until 15 November. The visit promises to be one of Szczecin's most interesting maritime events this autumn.

Visit Bursztyn Unity in Szczecin

November brings a special reason to plan a trip to Szczecin. From 12 to 14 November, visitors will have the chance to tour the Bursztyn Unity ferry while it is moored at Wały Chrobrego, also known as the Chrobry Embankment. It is a rare opportunity to step aboard a new vessel and combine a maritime attraction with a city break in Szczecin.
