Just one month to go until the Szczecin Christmas Market 2026 opens its doors! From 27 November to 22 December, the heart of Szczecin will once again come alive with festive decorations, seasonal flavours and the welcoming atmosphere of the Christmas season. It's a great opportunity to plan a winter city break in Poland.

This year's Christmas market will take place across three central locations: Aleja Kwiatowa, Plac Adamowicza and Plac Lotników. Visitors can look forward to wooden stalls offering handmade crafts, Christmas gifts and seasonal treats. The programme will also include music, performances and festive entertainment, with a dedicated event stage at Plac Lotników.

The Szczecin Christmas Market is more than just a place to shop. It's an opportunity to discover the city from a different perspective, enjoy an evening walk through its illuminated streets and experience the festive atmosphere of north-western Poland. Whether you're visiting with family, friends or on a weekend getaway, the market is a great addition to your winter travel plans.

Visit Bursztyn Unity in Szczecin

November brings a special reason to plan a trip to Szczecin. From 12 to 14 November, visitors will have the chance to tour the Bursztyn Unity ferry while it is moored at Wały Chrobrego, also known as the Chrobry Embankment. It is a rare opportunity to step aboard a new vessel and combine a maritime attraction with a city break in Szczecin.

Bursztyn Unity: Szczecin christening on 11 November

The Bursztyn Unity ferry will be christened at Wały Chrobrego in Szczecin on 11 November 2026. The city will once again host a maritime ceremony, this time on Poland’s Independence Day. Residents and visitors will have an opportunity to see the new vessel and join the celebrations beside the Oder River.
