Remains of Szczecin Fortress

Fragments of old fortifications unearthed during the construction of the Kaskada Shopping Centre. Between the 17th and 19th centuries, this area featured defensive structures intended to protect the fortress from the west. Other surviving remnants include the decorative Port and Royal City Gate. Parts of the old curtain wall can also be seen in the basement of the shopping centre.
