November 1st is approaching – a time when thousands of people visit the graves of their loved ones. In Szczecin, the Central Cemetery, the largest in Poland, becomes the focal point of these visits. To ease access and ensure smooth movement, the city has introduced changes to public transport and traffic organization.

From October 25 to November 2, buses and trams will run more frequently. Several special lines (including D15, D53, D60, D62, D75, D80, D97, D07) will operate directly to cemetery areas. On November 1st, public transport will be further reinforced with additional vehicles deployed to accommodate increased demand.

Seven ZDiTM information points will be available – four at the gates of the Central Cemetery, and three at key transport hubs: pl. Kościuszki, Gumieńce, and Pomorzany. Extra ticket booths will operate daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

For drivers, free parking will be available near Selgros, IKEA, and Turzyn Shopping Centre. However, there will be traffic restrictions – starting October 25, one-way traffic will be introduced around Karola Miarki and Piękna streets. On November 1st, several streets (including Ku Słońcu, Karola Miarki, Santocka, and Piękna) will be closed to general traffic. Similar changes apply to cemetery areas in Dąbie and Zdroje.
