You don’t have to sail far to find adventure. Just step onto the water – Szczecin, with its intricate network of canals, islands, and backwaters, is a hidden paradise for water enthusiasts. For those who want to explore the city from a watery perspective, Żegluga Szczecińska has created “water corners” – small but well-equipped resting points where you can pause, relax, and continue your journey.

Two of these stops – Wydrnik (on the Węża Canal, near Radolin Island) and Głębia (on the Święta River, near Dębina Island) – each offer five moorings for yachts and five for kayaks, rowboats, or SUP boards. These spots are free to use and open to all. Nestled in nature, they offer a tranquil escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Perfect not only for seasoned sailors, the water corners are also ideal for kayakers, paddleboarders, or families looking for an active day out. They serve as great starting points for excursions toward Łasztownia, the riverfront boulevards, or the Świdwie nature reserve. From the water, Szczecin reveals a calmer, greener, and more authentic face.
