On January 17, Szczecin will host the naming ceremony of Jantar Unity, the newest and most advanced Polish ferry operating on the Baltic Sea. The vessel, owned by Unity Line, will be docked at Wały Chrobrego starting January 15 around 2:00 PM, remaining in place for a few days and drawing attention from both locals and visitors.

The main ceremony will take place on Wednesday, January 17 at 3:00 PM on Chrobry Boulevard. Guests can witness the event live on-site or via a large screen. Later that evening, at 6:00 PM, a spectacular 30-minute light and laser show will add visual magic to the celebration.

On January 18, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, the ferry will open its doors to the public. Entry is free, and no registration is required – a rare chance to explore the interiors of a modern ferry before it begins regular operations across the Baltic.
