The Goleniowska Forest is a vast forest complex of almost 63,000 ha. It is one of the most favorite places for the inhabitants of Szczecin to spend time.
The area is attractive for recreation due to the health benefits of pine forests. You will find here many berries and mushrooms. A characteristic feature of the local landscape is the valley of the Ina River crossing the Forest from north to south along with charming mid-forest meadows. The beautifil landscape is complemented by small lakes, incl. Ostrowo and Przybiernowskie. It is a great place for hiking, horse and bicycle riding.
The Goleniowska Forest is one of the most important places for white-tailed eagle in Poland.
