This Friday, Aleja Kwiatowa will turn into an autumn-themed meeting place filled with great food, music and, of course, beer. A three-day Oktoberfest Szczecin is just around the corner.

This year’s edition will feature both well-known local breweries and guests from other regions of Poland and abroad. Visitors will be able to discover beers from Browar Gryfus, Browar Odrzański, Browar Pod Zamkiem, Miejski Browar Stargard, Browar Folga, Browar Nieczajna and Browar Czarnków. There will also be German festival beers and a Czech addition – Browar Konicek will make its first appearance at the event. Browar Anders will also make its debut during Oktoberfest.

A wide variety of beers will be available to try – from classic lagers, pilsners and wheat beers to IPAs, stouts, sour beers, alcohol-free options and more experimental brews.

But Oktoberfest is about much more than beer. The food zone will offer, among other things, lángos, burgers, Belgian fries, pizza fritta, toasties, as well as roasted and pulled game meat. Bike Cafe will also be there with coffee and sweet treats.

A packed stage programme will run throughout the weekend, featuring concerts, DJ sets, quizzes, talks, discussions and beer-brewing demonstrations. Guests will include Krzysztof Pronobis from Browar Gryfus, Tomasz Wieczorek and Paweł Reszela, who will perform a stand-up show on Saturday evening. There will also be live music from Stany Pośrednie and Marcin Simiński Trio.

On Sunday, visitors can take part in Oktoberiada, a team beer quiz, as well as join a free Pivny Szczecin guided walk through the Old and New Town.

Oktoberfest Szczecin will take place from 2 to 4 October at Aleja Kwiatowa.
