Technical breaks at two Szczecin attractions
04.09.2026
Planning to visit the Maritime Science Centre or Fabryka Wody in Szczecin this September? It is worth checking the temporary changes before setting out. Both popular attractions have scheduled technical breaks in September 2026, although the dates and the extent of the restrictions are different.
The Maritime Science Centre (Morskie Centrum Nauki) will have its technical break from 1 to 12 September. Visitors planning to explore the exhibition should therefore choose a later date. The centre is due to welcome visitors again from 13 September.
The situation is slightly different at Fabryka Wody, where the technical break runs from 2 to 15 September 2026. Access to parts of the aquapark will be restricted during this period, but the entire complex will not be closed.
Visitors will still be able to use the sports swimming pool and the pool for the youngest guests. The Saunarium, Edukatorium, Royal Tropic 18+ zone, SPA, fitness facilities and bowling alley will also remain available. The full aquapark offer is scheduled to return on 16 September.
This is particularly useful information for families planning a September city break in Szczecin. Despite the maintenance period, there are still several reasons to visit Fabryka Wody, while the Edukatorium provides an interesting indoor option regardless of the weather.
Before visiting either attraction, it is a good idea to check the latest announcements and opening hours for individual areas. This will make it easier to plan your stay in Szczecin and avoid unexpected changes on arrival.
