Sail Szczecin 2026. How to Get There?

From 14–16 August, Szczecin will once again become Poland's sailing capital. Tall ships from across Europe will moor at the foot of the Wały Chrobrego waterfront, creating one of the most spectacular summer events in the country.

It's a unique opportunity to admire these magnificent vessels up close, experience the city's maritime atmosphere, and enjoy a weekend filled with sea stories, sailing traditions, and unforgettable moments.

Visitors can also look forward to plenty of attractions on land, including concerts, funfair rides, children's activities, and live shanty music, ensuring entertainment for the whole family.

By Train

If you're travelling from within the region by regional train, there's a good chance your train will stop at Szczecin Łasztownia station, the closest railway stop to the event area. If your train only stops at Szczecin Główny (Main Station), don't worry – it's less than a 30-minute walk to Wały Chrobrego.

If you're using public transport, please note that trams and buses will operate on temporary routes during the event. Tram line 6 will terminate at Wyszyńskiego stop before continuing on a diversion. You can also reach Wyszyńskiego by bus line 75, departing from SKM Dworzec Główny (Kolumba).

By Plane

If you're flying to Szczecin, keep in mind that Solidarity Szczecin-Goleniów Airport is located around 45 km from the city centre.

The airport is served by PKS Szczecin and Follow Me! shuttle buses, which are coordinated with flight arrivals. There is also a railway station next to the terminal (Port Lotniczy Szczecin-Goleniów) with regional trains to Szczecin Główny. Most of these trains also stop at Szczecin Łasztownia, just a short walk from the event.

By Car

If you're travelling by car, please be aware that traffic restrictions will be in place around Wały Chrobrego and Łasztownia during the event, and parking close to the venue will be limited.

Visitors are encouraged to use one of Szczecin's Park & Ride (P+R) facilities and continue their journey by public transport. A list of available paid and free parking areas is available HERE.

If you choose to park in the city centre, please note that Szczecin operates a Paid Parking Zone from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as the Downtown Paid Parking Zone (Old Town), which is in operation every day from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
