Thursdays in the Lower Oder Valley – Cruises to Gartz!

Great news for lovers of river cruises! Following the huge interest in the weekend Cross Oder cruises, additional weekday departures are now available. From 23 July to 13 August, the Sedina will also operate every Thursday on the route Szczecin – Mescherin – Gartz.

The cruise departs at 10:00 from Chrobry Embankment (Bulwar Chrobrego) in Szczecin. Around 12:00, the vessel makes a short stop in Mescherin, before arriving in the German town of Gartz shortly before 13:00. The return cruise to Szczecin departs at 15:30. It's a perfect opportunity to admire the stunning wetlands of the Oder River, the beautiful landscapes of the Lower Oder Valley, and discover the fascinating history of the Międzyodrze region from the water.

Several hours in Gartz can be spent visiting the local museum, strolling through the charming streets of the town, or relaxing in one of its cafés or restaurants. These cruises are a great option for visitors to Szczecin as well as local residents looking for an enjoyable one-day trip across the Polish-German border.

• 13 August (the cruise will be approximately 45 minutes longer, resulting in a shorter stay in Gartz).

The Thursday cruises are an independent initiative operated jointly with the owner of the Sedina and are not financed by the European Union. Therefore, ticket prices differ from those of the weekend Cross Oder cruises, which are co-financed by EU funds.
