Water tram returns to the Szczecin Lagoon
11.03.2026
The water tram operating on the Szczecin Lagoon will return for the summer season of 2026. The service will once again connect several towns located along the lagoon, offering both residents and visitors an opportunity to travel across the region by boat and experience it from a different perspective.
Two main routes are planned this year. The first will run from Szczecin via Stepnica to Trzebież, while the second will connect Świnoujście with Trzebież and Nowe Warpno. Trzebież will serve as an important transfer point where passengers will be able to change lines and continue their journey across the lagoon.
A trip on the water tram is not only a means of transport but also an idea for a day trip. Bicycles can be taken on board, allowing passengers to continue their journey along cycling routes after reaching the port. This makes it easy to combine the cruise with active sightseeing in the region.
The return of the water tram is another step in the development of water tourism in West Pomerania. Local governments have been working together for several years to create a network of water connections encouraging visitors to explore towns around the Szczecin Lagoon.
