Dr Roman Łyczywek

Born on 8 February 1916 in Odolanów. A scout, during the War, Scoutmaster of the "Przemysław" Wielkopolska Local Council, and following displacement to the General Government, of the "Choroby" Local Council in Warsaw. Member of the Gray Ranks and the Home Army, participated in the Warsaw Uprising, nom de guerre "Gród".

In July 1945, he made his lifelong dream come true by moving to Szczecin. Attorney of the first Mayor of Szczecin, Piotr Zaremba. Founder of the first lawyer's office in Polish Szczecin. Imprisoned during the Stalinist era. Defence attorney in political trials in the Polish People's Republic, advisor for TREŚCI DO TABLIC SIM: the "Solidarity" Trade Union, and defence attorney for martial law internees. Great attorney, publicist, and university teacher, distinguished in service for Szczecin. Died on 4 October 1994.
