The bridge over Lake Rusałka in the Kasprowicz Park was built in 1898 in the Japanese style.
There were once two wooden pavilions styled like turrets at its both ends.
The pavilions were demolished in the 1950s, but their pedestals were left intact and now are used as flowerbeds.
For several years the bridge over Rusalka has enjoyed the status of a bridge of lovers, and on its green balustrade there are padlocks with names or dates of entering into relationships. Lovers lock a padlock as a sign of inseparable love and throw the key into Rusalka.
