Castle Route
Trasa Zamkowa
The name "Castle Route" was chosen in a competition out of 250 submitted proposals.
It is made up of bridges over the rivers Odra and Parnica, and a viaduct over Łasztownia.
It was created in the place of the Kłodny Bridge destroyed during World War II. It offers a great panoramic view of Szczecin.
The construction of the Route began in 1978 and lasted almost 20 years using innovative (in those days) technologies.
Pillars are decorated with graffiti, creating a gallery of street art that is recognizable in the urban space.
