The Church of the Immaculate Conception of Virgin Mary

The Church of Virgin Mary is the oldest parish church of the then independent town of Dąbie. The earliest mention of the church dates back to 1260.

The current structure was built in the 15th century in the Gothic style and thoroughly redeveloped in the Neo-Gothic style according to the design by the architect Karl Brecht after the destruction brought by the great fire of 18 July 1863. The church gained a 75-metre high brick tower, which replaced the wooden structure of an almost equally height. Before the reconstruction of the steeplearch of the Cathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle in 2008, it had been the highest church tower in Szczecin.
