Looking for an active day trip? You can actually cycle from Szczecin all the way to the Baltic Sea! The route along Lake Dąbie, through Lubczyna and onward to coastal towns, is a perfect plan for a one-day or weekend adventure. Along the way, you'll enjoy stunning views and excellent cycling infrastructure.

The first stretch from Szczecin to Lubczyna runs along a newly renovated flood protection embankment. The wide, solid-surfaced path and closeness to nature make it one of the most enjoyable cycling routes in Western Pomerania. There are many spots to stop for a break or simply enjoy the landscape.

From Lubczyna, you can continue toward Goleniów, Wolin, or even as far as Międzyzdroje and Świnoujście. The routes are well-marked, mostly low-traffic, and offer a mix of asphalt and smooth gravel roads – making them accessible even for less experienced cyclists.

For the way back, regional trains equipped with bike spaces make returning easy from even the farthest part of the route. Planning more cycling adventures? Check out the region’s interactive cycling map: rowery.wzp.pl/mapa.
